WAXWINGS in Kings Langley
I counted 26 WAXWINGS in Toms Lane, Kings Langley this afternoon but I suspect there were probably in excess of 30. They were feeding on apples in front garden of IPS Fencing and very confiding although they would fly off for short periods and return.
There didn't appear too much in the way of food for them so if you plan to see if they're still around tomorrow I suggest you take some apples with you and leave them under the tree.
Couple of shots attached.

PS I noticed one bird had a silver coloured ring on its right leg but couldn't make out any identification marks.
