Very late COMMON REDSTART




This very late first-winter female COMMON REDSTART was present in a Letchworth garden on 8 October (per Alan & Mark Reynolds)

  1. Can't quite believe it but same bird just seen again, same place (SG6 1DZ) 11.11.09. Almost exactly same time as seen on 08.11.09.

    Potentially roosting in small coppice?

  4. Unusually, but good for me, I worked from home today. Between 2.45pm and 3.15pm seems to be optimum time but unfortunately I won't be around until Saturday (damn work...) but you might get lucky from the park. There's a footy goal post - look to the left of that (facing north). It has been flitting around the fence line and on the shed roofs.
